The White House press secretary under the Trump administration, Karoline Leavitt, has a new nickname! From being called Barbie to Spinmeister, she has a crazy new nickname that’s the result of her recent press conference. The 27-year-old press secretary is facing criticism for her remarks about judges who have blocked Donald Trump’s tariffs.

Apart from the public reaction, a former White House lawyer, Ty Cobb, has also spoken over her comments on the judge’s interference in Trump’s decisions. The former lawyer said that most people don’t listen to her and tune her out.

In her new press briefing, Leavitt called out the judges of the Court of International Trade who blocked the tariffs. This comes after their decision to stop the tariffs. As a result, the MAGA administration’s lawyers have appealed to the court.

Leavitt spoke about the court’s role in the president’s decisions. According to her, they should not interfere. Moreover, they should not interfere with presidential decisions as they are following a dangerous trend. They are not the ones elected here.

Furthermore, she says that the country cannot function without the president’s diplomatic trade negotiations. If the judges interfere in the president’s work, the whole country will be railroaded.

Ty Cobb states in his CNN podcast that she is being so defensive while being ill-informed. He goes on to say, “I don’t think it’s creepy Karoline — when she speaks — I don’t think anybody in America really takes her seriously on a matter of substance.”

So her new nickname is Creepy now. Moreover, he says she was not even learned by any imagination. He is directly targeting her intellect and knowledge. Maybe that’s why people don’t take her seriously.

Cobb also says that Trump may not have a say in ordering tariffs, so it makes sense for the judges to block it. He says this statute has never been used with tariffs, so they may not have the right to enforce them. So, there may just be a pretense by the administration to have these powers even over the court.

Currently, Trump has seven lawsuits against the tariffs, and the administration has to fight back while Trump’s stance remains the same on tariffs. He is also determined to overstep the judge’s orders, considering there is a national trade deficit. Meanwhile, the tariffs are impacting the global economy and several countries. Many countries have come with retaliatory tariffs. Trump’s lawyers have fourteen days to submit the evidence to support the case along with the appeal.

Netizens have responded to Leavitt’s nickname by including it in several posts. One of them said we don’t like you already, Creepy Karoline when she spoke about how people won’t like her getting angry in the speech. Another user claimed she could be the most despised in Trump’s regime after Mace and Greene. Leavitt is just doing her job here! What do you think about her new nickname?
