Trump referred to Biden’s condition as “Stage 9” cancer and asked how no one knew about it. However, the use of the “Stage 9” term has drawn confusion and criticism. Medical professionals had clarified that cancer stages typically only go from I to IV.
This comment showed that Donald Trump has indeed read Biden’s health report that has been released, but he confused the stage of cancer with the Gleason score. It is a separate grading method used to measure the aggressiveness of prostate cancer. Biden’s Gleason score was reported to be 9, which is considered highly aggressive and has reportedly metastasized to the bone.

Donald Trump used the opportunity to raise broader concerns about Biden’s health. He also mentioned the previous administration’s lack of transparency. He questioned whether Biden’s cognitive and physical condition had been properly disclosed to the public. He also criticized Biden’s physician for what he implied was a misleading report on the former President’s overall health during his time in office.
Trump took this opportunity and made it all about him, again. He touted his own recent medical evaluations and claimed to have passed a cognitive test “with flying colors.” He described himself as being in “excellent” health.
He argued that all presidential candidates should be required to undergo and publicly release detailed health and cognitive assessments. “The American people deserve to know the truth,” he stated.

Donald Trump’s remarks aligned mostly with MAGA in the conservative media ecosystem. Donald Trump Jr. has earlier made similar remarks and floated conspiracy theories. These suggested that Biden’s diagnosis had been deliberately concealed or strategically timed.
