Tiffany Trump has decided to give her son her family name. The 31-year-old recently gave birth to her first child, making Donald Trump the grandfather for the 11th time. People could not help but speculate if the name was an attempt to get closer to Donald Trump.
There have been rumors in the past about Tiffany being sidetracked. A lot of people also believe that the President does not care about Tifanny as much as he does about his other 4 children. People were especially convinced about the same after Trump accidentally announced her pregnancy.
The moment came during his appearance at the Detroit Economic Club. The President took time to note how Tiffany’s father-in-law, Dr. Massad Boulos, is a “very successful businessman.” Trump then complimented his son-in-law, Michael, calling him an “exceptional guy.”
The 78-year-old then noted how “exceptional” his daughter it as well. And she’s going to have a baby. So, that’s nice,” he added in what seemed like an afterthought. The lack of enthusiasm in Trump’s voice was hard to miss as he broke the happy news.
Trump’s announcement fueled the rumors about him being somewhat indifferent towards Tiffany even more. “Wow.. he acknowledged her!?” a user wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). “I think it’s crazy how Tiffany Trump is Donald’s least favorite kid and he doesn’t even hide it,” a second netizen added.

Even though Tiffany did not get to announce the news of her own pregnancy, she at least got to be the one to announce the birth of her son. “Welcome to the world, our sweet baby boy, Alexander Trump Boulos. We love you beyond words! Thank you for coming into our lives! 5.15.2025,” she wrote in an Instagram post along with a photo of her son’s foot.
The announcement made people question if the baby’s middle name is Tiffany’s attempt to get in her father’s good books. Donald Trump has yet to acknowledge the birth of his 11th grandchild.
On the other hand, Trump’s ex-wife and Tiffany’s mother, Marla Maples, took time out to write a hearty congratulations. “No greater joy in the world…Michael and Tiffany this Gran Mar Mar loves you all so much!!” she wrote in the comments section of the Instagram post.

Other than the newest addition to the family, Trump has 10 other grandchildren. The President’s oldest son, Donald Trump Jr., has 5 children. His daughter Kai Trump is 18 years old and the oldest. Donald John Trump III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe are next in line.
Ivanka Trump, who is married to Jared Kushner, shares three children with him. The couple is parents to their oldest, Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore. Eric Trump, who married Lara Trump in 2014, has two children. The couple shares their son Eric and daughter Carolina.
