Logan Federico, 22, who was a Taylor Swift superfan, was brutally k—-d by a serial criminal on May 3. She was with her friends at a rental home in Columbia, South Carolina, when Alexander Dickey broke into the property and shot her. He has also been accused of stealing her credit cards and then going on a shopping spree.

According to the cops, Federico was found with a gunshot wound in her chest. Dickey, 30, went into her room and then shot her. He then allegedly drove away from the property in a stolen car, which later broke down. Cops revealed that he was spotted in Lexington County before he fled on foot.

According to the cops, Dickey then broke into another property and set it on fire before being arrested. Police also mentioned Federico wasn’t an intended target, and she was randomly murdered.

She worked at a bar in Charlotte, North Carolina. The bar manager, Jeff Reed, said that April 25 was the last she saw her or heard from her. Speaking with the NBC-affiliate WIS-TV, Reed said, “The last words of her to me were I love you.”

Logan’s dad, Stephen, revealed that her text message to her manager was one of her final words before she was brutally killed. She didn’t show up for work the next day. Reed, who seemingly adored Federico, celebrated her life by recalling the moments she was happiest.

“It was easy to come in here and not feel deflated when she was working. She greeted you. She wanted to know how you’re doing in life,” Reed said. Federico’s family made a GoFundMe post, where they wrote that she was taken “far too soon.”

“A big personality in every room, Logan was fun, fierce, and full of heart—just like her favorite Taylor Swift anthem, “22” (which she insisted was just written for her).”

Logan’s dad, Stephen, also shared an Instagram post, where he described how the 22-year-old was as a person. “My daughter knows I have her back, and I know she has mine. “I didn’t raise a princess, I raised a warrior.”

Tears must have rolled down his face when he wrote that he was still waiting to hear back from her after he sent her the text message, “I love you.”

Stephen also shared a message with Dickey, the man who killed his daughter. During a press conference, he said, “The message I wanted to send to Dickey, who took my daughter’s life — this is from her: ‘You can’t kill my spirit.’ You might be able to kill my body … but you cannot kill my love that my family and friends shared with me.”

According to the bereaved family, the 22-year-old was planning on pursuing a career in teaching after studying at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. Just months before being murdered, Logan celebrated her 22nd birthday in January, when her father wished her on Facebook: May this new year bring you growth, happiness, and fulfillment.

Meanwhile, Alexander Dickey, who has been previously convicted of robbery and grand larceny, has been charged with murder, burglary, credit card theft, and weapons possession.
