Donald Trump was in his first term when Jeffery Epstein was taken into custody. The extensive cases of trafficking and assault were then begun. Before the details of the case could even become public, Epstein was found dead in his jail cell.
Jeffery Epstein was one of the most notorious billionaires. Despite being charged with sexually abusing numerous minors in the early 2000s, Epstein was only imprisoned for 13 months.
He was indicted on federal charges in New York in 2019. It was more than ten years after he quietly reached an agreement with federal prosecutors in Florida. The agreement was to resolve identical sex trafficking accusations in exchange of information.
The case has received a lot of attention due to Epstein and his ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell‘s connection. Epstein and Maxwell were known to be friends with billionaires, presidents, and British royalty. The late British media magnate Robert Maxwell, who formerly controlled the New York Daily News, is the father of Maxwell herself.
The documents released earlier were named like Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and Prince Andrew. But after Epstein’s untimely death, the case was on hold.
While campaigning last year, Trump repeatedly assured his base that he would release Epstein’s files and unmask all the criminals.

According to the flight record, on May 15, 1994, Donald Trump travelled from Palm Beach, Florida, to Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C. He then went to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey, accompanied by his then-wife Marla, daughter Tiffany, and a nanny.
No more details related to these flights have been released. The context of the flights is yet unknown. If the occupants of the plane were on a vacation or a business trip, it has not been made public yet.
On Thursday, Attorney General Pam Bondi wrote a letter to FBI Director Kash Patel. In the letter she hinted towards the new documents that have been found. She has also instructed the FBI to conduct an investigation into why all the documents were not handed over to her, despite her clear directive. She has given a deadline for Friday and has asked to have all the documents related to Jeffery Epstein in her office by then.

Several lawsuits, Jeffery Epstein’s criminal dockets, public revelations, and Freedom of Information Act requests have all resulted in the release of hundreds of pages of information over the years. Documents gathered as evidence are like a treasure trove. These were released by a court in January 2024 as result of a lawsuit by Virginia Giuffre, one of the Epstein victims.
A large portion of the information was already well known to the public. It included old police reports and victim interview transcripts.
When Donald Trump promised to release Jeffery Epstein’s documents, he also promised the release of other documents. He said that there are several mysteries in the political history of the country, and the public has a right to know. He promised to release the documents of the JFK assassination, too.
